Doty Accepts Call
to be Archdeacon
The Ven. Michael Doty has accepted Bishop vonRosenberg’s call to the position of archdeacon for the Diocese of East Tennessee. He will have responsibility for all areas of mission -- local and foreign. He will work with mission congregations, Area Mission Teams, new mission development and world mission.

St. Paul's Gives Gift of Music to Chapel of the Apostles in Sewanee

St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Chattanooga, Tenn. has given a $250,000 gift for the purchase of a new organ and the establishment of a fund to support the continuing position of an organist intern in Anglican music at the University of the South.

St. Luke, Cleveland, was established as St. Alban’s Mission by the Rt. Rev. Charles T. Quintard, the second bishop of Tennessee in 1867. It was a small but active mission until the accidental death of seven-year-old Nina Craigmiles became the catalyst for new building and growth.
