The Province IV Altar Guild will celebrate the new millennium with a challenging and inspirational program during its annual conference to be held June 4-7 at Kanuga Conference Center in Hendersonville, N.C. The conference will begin on Sunday, June 4, with an opening Eucharist led by the Conference chaplain, the Rev. Phil Byrum, Rector of St. Timothys in Wilson, N.C. In additon to the business meeting, Monday and Tuesday will provide participants with a range of workshops and plenty of time for relaxing and fellowship on the Rocking Chair Porch. The conference will close with Eucharist before breakfast on Wednesday morning to allow those with long drives to get on the road early. Optional activities include visits to the Carl Sandburg farm, the renowned Flatrock Theater or the home of Thomas Wolfe. The conference cost is $181 per person (double occupancy) covers housing and meals and is paid directly to Kanuga. Single occupancy rate is $244. There is also a $25 per person registration fee payable to the Province IV Altar Guild to cover program expenses. Please send registration fee of $25 to:
