The Reverend Randall C. Morgan was installed by the Rt. Rev. Charles vonRosenberg, Bishop of East Tennessee, as the ninth rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Athens, TN on October 17th, 2001. The Rev. D. Eric Schnaufer, Rector of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Greenville, SC served as Homilist, and the Rev. Janice Robbins, from St. Francis of Assisi, Ooltewah, TN, served as Deacon.

Morgan received his Master of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary in 1985. After graduation, he served churches in West Virginia and Maryland. He came to St. Paul's from Church of the Good Shepherd, Greer, SC, where he had served for thirteen years.

The Rev. Carol Ann Bullard has been called by Bishop vonRosenberg and St. Matthew’s, Dayton to be Deacon-in-Charge until her ordination to the priesthood by Bishop vonRosenberg on November 7. She began her ministry in Dayton on September 1.

The Rev. Susanna Metz has been appointed Director of Contextual Education at the School of Theology, Sewanee. She will continue to assist at St. John the Baptist, Battle Creek and as Director of the Center for Ministry in Small Churches.

The Rev. Charles Livermore has been appointed Priest-in-Charge under Special Circumstances at Trinity Church, Gatlinburg, effective September 1.

The Rev. Robert Henley has accepted the call to become vicar of St. Joseph’s, Sevierville. Henley and his wife, Russ, come to Sevierville from St. Francis of Grayling and St. Bartholomew’s of Mio, Michigan.

Henley grew up in Cowan, Tenn. and is looking forward to returning to the South.

The Rev. Jay Mills became the full-time assistant at the Church of the Good Samaritan, Knoxville, on November 1. He has served numerous churches in West Virginia, Tennessee and Virginia and is eager to be a part of the ministry team at Good Samaritan.
