DOK to Hold Spring Assembly at Cathedral The Order of The Daughters of the King in the Diocese of East Tennessee will hold their annual Spring Assembly at St. John's Cathedral in Knoxville, on Saturday, May 4, 2002. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m., in the Cathedral Great Hall. A diocesan board meeting will convene at 9:45 a.m., with the general assembly meeting beginning at 10:30 a.m. The general assembly meeting is open to all members of the DOK and their guests. The speaker for this year's meeting will be the Rev. Frank vanDevelder, priest associate at St. Stephen's Episcopal, Oak Ridge. The Holy Eucharist will be celebrated by the Rev. Canon Thomas Rasnick, Sub-Dean of the Cathedral and Chaplain to the Daughters of the King in this diocese, beginning at noon in the Cathedral Chapel. Lunch will follow, with adjournment immediately after lunch. A $15 registration fee includes lunch, which will be provided by Jo Stewart Catering.
