2002 ECW Diocesan Conference Chair Named

Serving as Episcopal Church Women (ECW) Diocesan Conference Chairman this year is Ms. Nancy Tanner. The ECW board of directors is comprised of many varied and talented women. This month we’re pleased to showcase a woman who is no stranger to the diocese. She is a very active member of St. John’s having served as their Christian Education director, UTO Coordinator, vestry member, convention delegate and numerous other positions. She is a past president of the diocesan ECW and has served on their board of directors in various capacities. She was one of three representatives of the East Tennessee ECW at the Triennial in Indianapolis and Denver.

Tanner is the proud mother of two daughters, one son and seven grandchildren.

She has always been a very active member in civic affairs and is respected by one and all.

In her current role as Conference Chairman she’d be pleased to see as many of you, as possible, joining her at DuBose in April for the Spring ECW Conference.
