Conference Asks, 'How now shall I live?' In recent years large numbers of Americans have been reexamining their lifestyles, reorganizing their priorities, and reworking their relationship to family, work, and God. September 11 has intensified this process a hundred fold. Now we are all on spiritual alert -- more profoundly aware of who we are, who we love and what we care about. We are living with our eyes wide open and asking with new urgency How now shall I live? All the speakers for this years conference are actively engaged in spiritual formation, helping people in diverse circumstances to rethink their lives. Parker Palmer works primarily with educators, Roberta Bondi counsels graduate students, André Delbecq coaches business leaders, Sharon Daloz Parks guides young adults, and Phyllis Tickle shares her prayer disciplines both in print and on the internet. They have their fingers on the pulse of American spirituality. The conferences allow for discussion after each presentation and audience members at the Downlink Sites can email or call in questions. Take part in the conference via satellite on Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6 at the Wood Auditorium at the UT Medical Center, Knoxville, and at Grace Church, Chattanooga. The conference begins at 8 a.m. on Friday and continues until 5 p.m. Saturdays downlink begins at 8 a.m. and concludes at 1:30 p.m. This conference is the 33rd national conference from Trinity Institute, a continuing education program directed by the Rev.
