Episcopal Church
Women Profile June first marked the third annual Mollie Tucker Recognition Day! Mollie Tucker served as Episcopal Church Women (ECW) treasurer and president of the Diocese of Tennessee, before the diocese became three. Those who knew Mollie remember her love for the Church, her delight in service and her ability to see Christ in everyone she met. The ECW established a scholarship in her memory to honor her years of service to the ECW. Since 1988, twenty-three women in the Diocese have been awarded Mollie Tucker Scholarships. This Summer at Grace Point Camp The first year of summer camps at Grace Point are underway. There are also opportunities for all (children & adults) who don't plan to attend a week-long camp. The invitation is to one and all -- to individuals, families, parishes and organizations. Come down to the river to pray -- and play. Briefs First Rector Installed at St. Joseph the Carpenter Bishop vonRosenberg formally installed the Rev. Rob Henley, as the first rector of St. Joseph the Carpenter, Sevierville on Saturday, April 20.
