An Open Letter to the Diocese Dear fellow Episcopalians, After serving as diocesan Webmaster and Internet consultant for the past four years, Im passing those duties to Sharon Rasmussen. She will soon fill the newly created position of Communications Officer for the diocese. Any personal sadness at giving up my part-time position, and I must admit there is a bit, is easily overshadowed by my enthusiasm for better methods of communication within our diocese. As a member of the diocesan Communications Committee, I have been a vocal supporter of creating this new position since the possibility first developed many months ago. I will continue to be involved in electronic communication by working with Sharon during a transition period. And as member of the Communications Committee, I will continue to be involved in the evolution of communication methods in the diocese. Thank you to Bishop vonRosenberg for allowing me to be a part of his staff. I will miss working with him and the other diocesan staff members as well as those of you who work on parish Websites and our Internet mailing lists. It is with much excitement that I say, please join me in welcoming Sharon to our diocesan family as we move toward our goal of more effective communication. Peace,
|
