With a theme of Jellybean Prayers and Songs in the Heart, the women of the Episcopal Church in East Tennessee will meet in Knoxville on Saturday, Sept. 11, at the Episcopal School of Knoxville. The event has been shifted from midweek to Saturday to open participation to more women.

Highlights of this annual fall gathering are sure to be recognition of this year's Molly Tucker scholarship recipient and the first reunion of all previous Molly Tucker Scholarship recipients, who are being invited as our guests to share their experiences "after Molly Tucker." Scholarship Chairman Cheryl Jones asks that these recipients and anyone who may know the whereabouts of recipients contact her at 865-475-9536 or airjones@lcs.net (please say "MHT" in the subject line).

The Rt. Rev. Charles vonRosenberg will launch the day by celebrating Holy Eucharist in the school's outdoor pavilion, weather permitting, at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Claire Keene, assistant at St. Stephen, Oak Ridge, will preach, and members of All Saints, Morristown - ECW President Cathy Varner's home church - will be acolytes and crucifer. Ted Olson, an East Tennessee State University associate professor, musician and director of ETSU's Appalachian, Scottish and Irish Studies program will play during and after the service.

We will be inside the school for lunch, our general meeting and a time of warmhearted fellowship with one another and our scholarship recipients. All those who attend this special gathering will receive their very own "Jellybean Prayer Remembrance." The gathering will end around 3 p.m.
