Additional resources

An Anglican Communion Web site called "The Windsor Process" offers a wealth of material about historical and ongoing work around divisive issues.

Episcopal News Service has a page of links to more background information, including materials from the 1998 and 1988 Lambeth conferences. See also ENS' "Fast Facts" document.

"To Set Our Hope on Christ: A Response to the Invitation of Windsor Report, Paragraph 135" is a document requested by Presiding Bishop Frank Griswold from a group of Episcopal theologians. Paragraph 135 asks "how a person living in a same gender union may be considered eligible to lead the flock of Christ." The report may be downloaded from www.anglicanlistening.org/, which offers many additional aids to understanding this church controversy.

The Rev. Dr. Ian T. Douglas, professor at the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Mass., has made available "An Imagined Conversation on the Lambeth Commission," in which he answers a variety of questions about the structure of the Anglican Communion and the mandate of this commission.
