23rd Diocesan Convention

On her first visit to the mountains of East Tennessee, the Most Rev. Katharine Jefferts Schori, presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church, spoke to the diocesan convention on mission guided by the Millennium Development Goals. She also listened to the business of the diocese and graciously engaged in fellowship with youth, visitors and delegates.

Approximately 750 clergy, delegates and guests were present the second day when Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori addressed the convention. Her address is available in four forms:
